About the Cross Country Program
In order to offer students broader opportunity and enriched experience, New Covenant Academy students participate in a co-op partnership with Summit Preparatory School. The Summit works as the host team for this sport.

Practice Location/Times
Practices are held at the following locations; The Summit Preparatory School, Nathaniel Greene Park, and Chesterfield Park, after school during the season.
Program Description
The cross country program is open to boys and girls in grades 7-12 and is a running sport where the athletes usually compete on grass courses over a variety of terrain. Junior high race distance is approximately 1.5 miles, High School race distance is a 5K (3.1 miles).

Congratulations to senior students and twin-sisters, Claire and Katie McCune for signing a letter of intent to run in the track and field program at Drury University in the 2017 school year!
