Master Plan

Facility Development

In 2012 NCA adopted a long range plan designed for 600 students.  The Warriors Rising Capital Campaign was launched in 2014 to fund this facility development project.  To date, enough donations have been received to finish and pay in full,  the following improvements:  driveway extension/parking upgrades, new playground with fenced play area,  (both completed fall 2015) high school regulation sized baseball field (completed spring 2016), a six classroom wing addition (completed fall 2016), as well as extensive remodeling of current spaces to create a commons area, and additional administrative offices to accommodate added employees such as a full-time nurse, and a larger area for the technology dept (also completed fall 2016).

Enrollment continues to be ahead of the original project timelines, making it urgent to  re-assess the overall master plan for facility space including additional needed classrooms.  It is projected that many grade levels will be capped within a relatively short period of time.  The board of directors and administration continue to "roll up their sleeves"  to develop a facility plan that will accomodate our growing student body. 

On April 1, 2017, New Covenant Academy purchased the Life360 Church property located at 3581 S. Kansas Expy. in Springfield, which is a mere three-minute drive from the the main campus on Cox Rd.  Plans are underway to move the 5-8 program to that new facility in the 2018-2019 school year.  This strategic plan will benefit the entire Jr.K-12th grade program.  The new Jr. High will provide a learning environment specifically geared towards that age group.  The classrooms that they vacate at the main campus, will allow for growth in elementary and high school; bringing new projected potential growth number to 1,000 students over time.
