Please note:  Generally speaking, the hiring cycle for new faculty positions typically begins in the spring prior to the following school year.

 

FACULTY CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:  

For core subjects, all faculty members must hold a certification to teach in the State of Missouri or in another state within the U.S., (or meet the requirements for a provisional certification).  Additionally, they must have a four year undergraduate degree.  

SUBSTITUTE REQUIREMENTS:

Substitutes must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours in order to qualify for substittue teaching at NCA.

POSITION   JOB SUMMARY  
 
Part-time Extended Care Worker  

This is a part-time position M-F after school from 3:00 p.m.. to 6:00 p.m.. (Possibly before school hours 6:30 a.m.. to 8:00 a.m..) Pay is hourly, minimum wage.  Candidates must work well with young children, engage them in age appropriate activities, etc.  see Job Description for details.

Extended Care Worker  Job Description

 
Substitute Teacher  

QUALIFICATIONS:

           1.Meet the regular requirements for employment at NCA.

           2.Minimum of 60 college credit hours, B.A. preferred.     

           3.Such other qualifications as may additionally be required by the Board.

REPORTS TO: The Elementary Principal or CAO

JOB GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide educational services in the absence of instructor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Substitute/fill in for current staff. Paid minimum of 1/2 day for less than 4 hours of work, paid a full day for more than 4 hours of work, at will employee.

EVALUATION: By the CAO according to school policies for non-teaching employees.     

 
SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

           1.Meet the regular requirements for employment at NCA.

           2.Experience in a food service operation preferred.              

           3.Such other qualifications as may additionally be required by the Board.

REPORTS TO: Director of Food Services

JOB GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide each school child with food of highly nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.

Performance responsibilities include working in the kitchen in the planning, preparation, and serving of food for the classrooms, as well as related kitchen work.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Substitute/fill in for current staff. Hourly, at will employee

 EVALUATION: By the Director of Food Services according to school policies for non-teaching employees.                 

 

BUS DRIVER

Part-time as needed for athletic events

Salary:  $9.00 per hour

Start: Anytime

 

Candidates must posses a CDL bus drivers license with the appropriate "S" endorsement and have a good driving record.  Candidates must deal courteously with passengers, have the ability to manage a group of students, implement safety procedures as well as provide a good health and wellness check-up, and submit to drug testing.  (Note:  This is NOT a route driver position involving the pick up of students at their homes. This position is for special events only.)
