Please note:  Generally speaking, the hiring cycle for new faculty positions typically begins in the spring prior to the following school year.

 

FACULTY CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:  

For core subjects, all faculty members must hold a certification to teach in the State of Missouri or in another state within the U.S., (or meet the requirements for a provisional certification).  Additionally, they must have a four year undergraduate degree, and be willing to undergo the process for faculty certification through the Association of Christian Schools International upon hiring; which will be incorporated into the individual's professional development plan.

FULL-TIME

ELEMENTARY TEACHER POSITION FALL 2012-2013

 

 

 

2 ELEMENTARY TEACHER POSITIONS OPEN:  Candidates must possess certification to teach in the state of Missouri (or another State within the United States) or qualify for provisional certification through the state of Missouri.  This is a nine month, full-time, contracted position beginning in August 2012 and ending in May of 2013 (renewable each year pending board approval).  Working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday -Friday.  Compensation ranges from approximately $22,500 to $28,000 depending on credentials and experience.  Benefits include a 50% discount in tuition (all fees must be paid by employee) for your own qualifying student to attend NCA, medical insurance for the employee (a majority of the premium is covered by NCA) with an option for the employee to add family members at their cost; as well as misc. other cafeteria options that can be disclosed at the time of interview.   Teacher Job Description

 

PART-TIME

JR. KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

FALL 2012-2013

  This position is open due to the fact that we are opening a new half-day program in our Kindergarten.  Candidates must possess certification to teach in the state of Missouri (or another state within the United States) or qualify for provisional certification through the state of Missouri.  This position is contracted nine month position, beginning in August 2012 and ending in May 2013, renewable each year pending board approval.   Working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.  Compensation is pro-rated for part-time hours worked based on a full-time teachers salary schedule as well as credentials and experience. 

Tuition discounts of the candidates qualifying child to attend NCA,  for part-time teachers will be based on the percentage of time/hours worked.  No other fringe benefits are applicable for this position.

PART-TIME

ESL INSTRUCTOR FOR HIGH SCHOOL

  New Covenant Academy is in the process of updating the ESL program offered to our international students whose home of origin is generally speaking, Asian.  At this time, the specific hours, schedule and compensation have yet to be determined.  NCA is currently open to developing a candidacy pool and will contact potential candidates to discuss options.

BUS DRIVER

Part-time as needed for athletic events

Salary:  $9.00 per hour

Start: Anytime

 

Candidates must posses a CDL bus drivers license with the appropriate "S" endorsement and have a good driving record.  Candidates must deal courteously with passengers, have the ability to manage a group of students, implement safety procedures as well as provide a good health and wellness check-up, and submit to drug testing.  (Note:  This is NOT a route driver position involving the pick up of students at their homes. This position is for special events only.)
