Please note:  Generally speaking, the hiring cycle for new faculty positions typically begins in the spring prior to the following school year.

 

FACULTY CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:  

For core subjects, all faculty members must hold a certification to teach in the State of Missouri or in another state within the U.S., (or meet the requirements for a provisional certification).  Additionally, they must have a four year undergraduate degree.

 

FACULTY/ADMINISTRATION BENEFITS: 

The following benefits are offered to full-time faculty at New Covenant Academy:  50% discount in tuition for your own child to attend NCA (pending they meet admissions requirments); all fees must be paid by the employee.  Medical benefits are offered the employee with a majority of the premium paid for by New Covenant Academy.  Employees may add dependants at their own expense.  Optional cafeteria plans are offered at the employee expense.  A reducation in school lunch price is offered to the employee for their own meal service.  Free admission to all home sport games.  Part-time faculty: may receive a pro-rated discount in tuition for their own child to attend NCA.

SUBSTITUTE REQUIREMENTS:

Substitutes must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours in order to qualify for substittue teaching at NCA.

Part-time (with potential for full-time) Technology Support Technician  

New Covenant Academy is seeking qualified candidates for a Technology Support Technician. (Part-time up to $20,000) For the right candidate with strong knowledge and higher degree of training and experience in network infrastructure could be full-time, and role would become more of a Network Manager up to.$40,000 annually.  This role assists in the daily operation and provides support for the district technology and network infrastructure.  Duties include identifying and resolving issues with technology hardware, software, servers and network. The schedule is TBD. 

Qualifications include: High School graduate mandatory, Associates or B.A. in related area preferred. Technology related certifications preferred. Mandatory two years experience in information technology field with knowledge of network design, networking equipment, server maintenance, computer hardware, software and support. Knowledge of the following required: networking concepts, devices and security, Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Google Apps for Education and Chrome OS; knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals as well as common multimedia software applications and tools. 

 

 
Part-time Custodian   New Covenant Academy is seeking applications for the position of part-time Custodian beginning on May25, 2015.    Schedule:  4 hours per day, 5 days a week and can be done between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.  Pay is $8.75 per hour.   Custodian Job Description
