JOB DESCRIPTION: New Covenant Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Extended Care Before & After Program Workers. Duties include the following: Provide a safe atmosphere for all children; Provide activities during the extended hours as scheduled; Keep accurate records of those attending Extended Care; Maintain controls on the arrival and departure of children attending Extended Care , according to school policy; Report time charges for Extended Care as requested by the Business Office; Maintain accurate time sheets for pay. Salary is hourly, TBD. Hours of the program will vary slightly based on the campus location, but generally runs between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to start of school (8:15 a.m.) and 3:15 p.m. (school dismissal time) to 6:00 p.m. in the evening.

Our kitchen crew members come from a variety of backgrounds. Although experience
in the food service industry is a huge plus, we will consider candidates with similar experience. Possessing the factors below may enable you to jumpstart your success in this position:
|Full-time and Part-time Custodian||
Custodian-2018-2019 School Year.
NCA is seeking a custodian for the Kansas Ave. campus location. This position will be full-time during the day. There is a second part-time position open as well (Hours TBD).
The Custodian shall…
have a minimum of high school diploma or the equivalent preferred
be literate in English reading and writing skills
be able to physically perform all duties including the lifting of approximately up to 75 lbs., full range of body motions (prolonged walking or standing and frequent bending, stooping and reaching on a daily basis).
be able to operate electrical-powered cleaning equipment and machines
have minimum of one year custodial/maintenance experience preferred, which includes knowledge of cleaning, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and light maintenance procedures
be able to work independently
be able to perform required tasks
be calm and collected and reflect Christian principles, even in stressful situations
be able support the Christian mission at New Covenant Academy and lead a lifestyle compatible with NCA standards and policies.
exhibit such other qualifications as may additionally be required by the Board.
pass a federal background check and drug testing
have a valid Missouri driver’s license
REPORTS TO: Facility Building Maintenance Supervisor
JOB GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Facility Building Maintenance Supervisor duties include but are not limited to the following:
maintain designated areas of the building in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
do general cleaning and trash removal according to a regular schedule
maintain the security of the building
perform other duties as prescribed by the Facility Building Maintenance Supervisor or Chief Financial Officer.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly at-will employee.

Faculty Credential Requirements
For core subjects, all faculty members must hold a certification to teach in the State of Missouri or in another state within the U.S., (or meet the requirements for a provisional certification). Additionally, they must have a four-year undergraduate degree.
The following benefits are offered to full-time faculty at New Covenant Academy: 50% discount in tuition for your own child to attend NCA (pending they meet admissions requirements); all fees must be paid by the employee. Medical benefits are offered the employee with a majority of the premium paid for by New Covenant Academy. Employees may add dependents at their own expense. Optional cafeteria plans are offered at the employee expense. A reduction in school lunch price is offered to the employee for their own meal service. Free admission to all home sports games. Part-time faculty: may receive a pro-rated discount in tuition for their own child to attend NCA.
The following benefits are offered to full-time staff (non-teaching) at New Covenant Academy: 25% discount in tuition for your own child to attend NCA (pending they meet admissions requirements); all fees must be paid by the employee. Medical benefits are offered the employee with a majority of the premium paid for by New Covenant Academy. Employees may add dependents at their own expense. Optional cafeteria plans are offered at the employee expense. A reduction in school lunch price is offered to the employee for their own meal service. Free admission to all home sports games.
Substitutes must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours in order to qualify for substitute teaching at NCA.
