Part-time Data Entry Position

PART-TIME DATA BASE ENTRY ADMINISTRATION POSITION

New Covenant Academy is currently seeking qualified candidates for a part-time data base entry position in the Development Dept. Open until filled.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain donor information, update and synchronize multiple databases, resolve database issues.  Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Direct Mail Marketing: Develop mailing lists and edit marketing materials to attain a desired outcome.
  • Customer Service/Account Management: Answer account questions, set up new accounts and pledge schedules, post donations, send receipts and statements, prepare financial reports.
  • Create spreadsheets with large amounts of figures 
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files in report form as needed
  • General Office Duties: Assist Development Director with events, projects and other activities when needed.
  • Approximately 95% of this position will be at the computer.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.  College degree preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Google Products 
  • Be familiar with social media platforms
  • Have the ability to learn multiple internet based software programs
  • Proficient with technology in an office environment, including keyboarding and working with database management system
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, administrators and families.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in posting and processing accounts receivable

Food Service-Kitchen part time position available.   Open beginning January 4th, 2017​ until filled.

​Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and Friday 10:00-3:00 p.m.  (This position could possibly be split with 2 people sharing these set days of the week)

Part-time Extended Care Worker

Extended Care Worker

New Covenant Academy is seeking to fill part-time positions in the Extended Care area.  Work schedule to be determined but program hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on days school is in session.  Please contact Jesse George, Extended Care Supervisor, for any questions at photographsbyjesse@gmail.com.  All applicants must complete the NCA employment application to be considered.

Qualifications:

1. Fulfill the general qualifications for employment at NCA.
2. Previous experience in a child care setting is preferred.
3. A demonstrated love for children and a vibrant Christian testimony.
4. The ability to lead a variety of activities.
           

Duties Include:        

  • Provide a safe atmosphere for all children.
  • Provide activities during the Extended hours as scheduled.
  • Keep accurate records of those attending Extended Care .
  • Maintain controls on the arrival and departure of children attending Extended Care , according to school policy.
  • Report time charges for Extended Care as requested by the Business Office.
  • Maintain accurate time sheets for pay.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly employment according to established school policies.  This is an “at-will” position, and employment for a time does not guarantee continued employment.

Substitute Teacher

Minimum qualifications include the spiritual and personal qualifications for a teacher, a bachelor's degree or the equivalent, or at least 60 hours of college work.  Background checks within a period of 1 year must be on record.

JOB GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In general, substitute teachers are expected to perform all of the duties of the teacher they are replacing, including any scheduled extra duties, unless specifically excused or directed otherwise by the principal.

Substitute teachers will generally be employed on a daily basis, at the prescribed daily rate according to school policy.  Paychecks will be issued, following completion of the required substitute teacher form, at the next pay day according to established school policy.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly employment according to established school policies.  This is an “at-will” position, and employment for a time does not guarantee continued employment.

Bus Driver

Bus Driver

Bus drivers must hold a CDL with a school bus driver endorsement valid for the period of employment and must be willing to submit to a drug test on employment and during the term of employment as requested.

JOB GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain safe transportation conditions while driving the bus.  Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as requested, and report any deficiencies to the Secondary Principal immediately.  Operate the vehicle within the guidelines established by law and by NCA policy.  Assist in the supervision of students: while on the bus, the bus driver is the final authority regarding procedures, safety, and related transportation issues.  Reports of irregularities are to be made immediately to the Secondary Principal.  Maintain such records as are requested, including trip logs and time sheets.  Such other duties as may be assigned by the Secondary Principal.

Principal Credential Requirements

All principal's employed on NCA's campus must possess a master's degree and hold (or qualify for) Missouri certification as a principal, or the equivalent. Previous administration experience preferred; background in Christian philosophy of education preferred.


Faculty Credential Requirements  

 

For core subjects, all faculty members must hold a certification to teach in the State of Missouri or in another state within the U.S., (or meet the requirements for a provisional certification).  Additionally, they must have a four-year undergraduate degree.

 

Faculty/Administrative Benefits 

 

The following benefits are offered to full-time faculty at New Covenant Academy:  50% discount in tuition for your own child to attend NCA (pending they meet admissions requirements); all fees must be paid by the employee.  Medical benefits are offered the employee with a majority of the premium paid for by New Covenant Academy.  Employees may add dependents at their own expense.  Optional cafeteria plans are offered at the employee expense.  A reduction in school lunch price is offered to the employee for their own meal service.  Free admission to all home sports games.  Part-time faculty: may receive a pro-rated discount in tuition for their own child to attend NCA.
